Thomi Plus Beige Sand Bedside cot

To assemble the Thomi Plus cot, start by connecting the side frames to the base support and tightening the screws with the Allen key. Insert the stabilising bar into the openings in both frames, then attach the cot and upper rail, checking that each connection clicks into place. Make sure the zip that converts the cot into a playpen is fastened, attach the cover with the buckles and unfold the side legs so that the metal tabs are on the outside of the frame. Finally, insert the mattress and attach the accessories basket to the base support and stabilising bar using the metal snaps.

Set the height by pressing the adjustment levers on both sides of the Thomi Plus cot and selecting one of the 7 levels. Different heights can be set on each side of the cot. In bedside mode, however, the cot base must remain parallel to the floor, so the sides must not be set to different levels.

Use the bedside function only after securing the Thomi Plus cot to the parents' bed with the straps. Undo the zips on the drop-down side, release the buttons on the upper rail, remove the frame connector and lower the side. Move the cot against the bed, positioning its mattress at the same height as the parents' mattress or so that the parents' mattress is no more than 2 cm higher than the top edge of the lowered side. Guide the straps under the parents' mattress, position them vertically between the mattress and the bed frame, tighten them and fasten the buckles to the cot. Before each use, check that the attachment is stable and that there is no gap between the cot and the parents' bed. Use this function only with beds or mattresses with straight sides, not with round or water beds.

To prepare Thomi Plus for use as a playpen, set the frame to the maximum height using the adjustment levers and check that the metal tabs have entered the openings, confirmed by a click. Fasten the drop-down side, then remove the stiffening element from the opening side. Undo the zips on both sides and allow the fabric with the mattress to lower to the bottom. Finally, secure the playpen with the Velcro fasteners beneath the mattress to the stabilising bar and base support, making sure that the legs at the base are fully unfolded.

To transform Thomi Plus into a sofa, start by removing the mattress, undoing the cover fasteners and removing the tube connecting the rail. Remove the cover, detach the accessories basket and remove the stabilising bar using the release buttons on both sides. Extend the top rail, frame support and stabilising bar, then install the bar in the side frames, checking that it clicks into place. Attach the side support, shorter rail and sofa base with the foot supports, ensuring that the tabs click into the appropriate openings. Put the cover back on, secure its sides with the hook-and-loop fastener and zip, attach the lower section with the metal clips and finally place the mattress into the sofa.

To prepare Thomi Plus as a sofa or bed for an older child, start by removing all the frame components and laying them on the floor. Extend each component by pressing the tab and pulling it until a click confirms that it has been opened correctly. Connect the base support to the side frame sections, then fasten the components with screws using an Allen key. Attach the bumper-bar securing-strap buckles to the stabilising bar.

Install the bumper bar in the Thomi Plus sofa by inserting its hooks into the appropriate openings in the cover and frame. Then fasten the installation straps with the buckle around the stabilising bar. Once installation is complete, place the mattress into the sofa.

The Thomi Plus cot cover can be hand-washed at a temperature of up to 30°C. Before removing the cover, undo the hook-and-loop fasteners connecting it to the drop-down side and remove the stiffening element from the opening side. Clean the metal and plastic parts with a damp cloth and a mild cleaner. Do not use abrasive materials, ammonia, bleach or alcohol. Store the cot in a dry place away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight.
