The Lionelo Bastiaan RWF i-Size car seat underwent crash tests at the TASS International centre in the Netherlands, under conditions comparable to those used by the renowned German research institute known for awarding car seats star ratings. These conditions are considerably more rigorous than the requirements of the latest i-Size standard. The frontal impact simulation is carried out at 64 km/h, which is higher than the previous standard of 50 km/h. The tests we commissioned confirm that the Lionelo Bastiaan RWF i-Size car seat provides 23% greater head protection for the child at a 28% higher speed than required by the applicable standards. They make the seat shallower and help provide the child with a position that is anatomically correct. In addition, the optimal seat inclination angle in the RWF position provides comfort and supports correct positioning throughout the journey. The height adjustment of the headrest is integrated with the harness height adjustment, so you can adapt the car seat to your growing child with one movement. The wide seat provides older children with comfort during journeys. A practical storage compartment also lets you hide the internal harness without removing it.
