You can change the operating mode while using the breast pump by pressing the mode button. You can choose between massage, expression and mixed modes, each with 8 intensity levels. When switched on, the breast pump starts in the last mode used.

Before assembly, wash your hands, then wash, disinfect and completely dry the parts that come into contact with milk. Place the suction valve in the opening of the front cover, join the front and back covers of the container, then insert the silicone membrane with its convex side facing forwards. Insert the pin into the opening in the front cover of the container. Place the control panel onto the container until you hear a click. Finally, fit the flange onto the nipple tunnel so that it sits smoothly and does not move during operation.

The nipple should be positioned centrally in the tunnel of a correctly fitted flange. The device must sit against the breast with no gap between the breast and the silicone flange. You can use it with a standard nursing bra, while sitting or standing, without changing its position or leaning forward during operation.

Before a session, wash your hands, check that all parts are assembled and make sure the breast pump fits your body correctly. Switch the device on using the power button, then change the mode with the mode button. You can set the suction strength using the buttons from 1 to 8, increasing it only until you feel slight discomfort, then reducing it by one level. Pressing the power button pauses operation, and pressing it again resumes it. To switch off the device, press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds.

First switch off the device, gently remove it from your bra and detach the main body. Tilt the milk container with the rounded part facing down, then pour the milk through the spout into a bottle or storage container. Do not store milk in the breast pump or place the breast pump in the refrigerator with milk inside.

Thaw the milk in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours or at room temperature for up to 2 hours. You can also use warm running water at a maximum temperature of 37°C. In this case, use the milk immediately after thawing. Gently shake the container before feeding and check the milk temperature. Do not use a microwave or boiling water, and do not refreeze thawed milk.

Before first use, charge the breast pump by connecting the USB-C cable to the socket on the side of the main unit and the other end to a USB adapter. During charging, the battery indicator flashes. When it stops flashing, the device is fully charged. When the battery level is low, the indicator starts flashing and the breast pump switches off after 10 seconds. Use only an SELV charger with an output rating of 5 V DC 1 A.

First, gently pull the main unit upwards to remove it. Remove the flange from the nipple tunnel and separate the front and back parts of the milk container. Then gently lift the tab from the front cover of the container. Remove the silicone membrane. Finally, gently prise out the suction valve and remove it from the device.

Disassemble the breast pump after each use and wipe the main unit with a dry, soft cloth. Rinse the parts that come into contact with the body and milk in cool water, wash them in warm water with a mild detergent and rinse them thoroughly. To disinfect them, immerse them in boiling water for at least 10 minutes, ensuring they do not come into direct contact with the bottom of the container. Leave the parts to dry on a clean towel. Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher or disinfect the main unit or power cable.

Choose a different flange size to achieve a better fit to your breast. Flanges in sizes 17, 19, 21 and 24 mm are available for the Fidi Free Slim. If you experience discomfort or pain during use, stop the session immediately.

Check that the breast pump parts have no cracks or damage and that they are clean and correctly attached. Make sure the valve and membrane are fitted correctly and that your breast is firmly positioned against the flange. If the suction strength does not improve, contact an authorised service centre for the device.

First, make sure that the breast pump is charged or connected to the charger. If you are switching the device on for the first time or after a long period of storage, connect it to the charger before use.

Check that all the breast pump parts are correctly fitted together. Assemble the device following the instructions and make sure that the flange fits snugly.

Switch off the breast pump, disassemble it and wipe the device with a cloth. Leave all the parts to dry completely. Reassemble the breast pump only once it is dry.
