Astrid i-Size received the prestigious certification from the German ADAC institute. In the safety test, the car seat achieved 5 stars – the highest possible result – regardless of the installation method.
Practical ISOFIX base
The base with a support leg is installed using the ISOFIX system – simply connect it to the anchor points, adjust the leg and it is ready to use. The click-in system means that when the infant carrier is placed back onto the base, a distinctive sound confirms that the car seat has been attached correctly.
Tough as a shell
The substantial, robust shell is made from energy-absorbing materials (PP, EPP) to provide maximum safety. It is complemented by the advanced SideProtect side-impact protection system, which reduces the force of an impact.
Maximum head protection
The headrest is reinforced with Memory Foam, whose elasticity helps absorb overload forces effectively.
One simple movement
Is your child growing quickly? The headrest height can be adjusted by as much as 7 cm. For easier use, the headrest adjustment is integrated with the harness height adjustment. One pull is all it takes.
Ready for a walk
The car seat is compatible with universal adapters and fits most pushchairs available on the market. Simply remove the infant carrier from the car and attach it to the pushchair frame – all without waking your child.
