Detailed features

An alternative to a pushchair

A parent can steer the vehicle by pushing it like a pushchair. This makes the ride engaging for your child too, as they can focus on pedalling or holding the handlebars.

Freewheel function

Your child can pedal independently, but they do not have to. You decide whether pedalling affects the tricycle’s movement with a quick adjustment. The pedals can propel the tricycle forward or simply be used for play.

Modular design

The modular design makes it easy to adapt the tricycle to your needs. The canopy, bumper bar, basket and complete parent handle can be removed or fitted again quickly, so the vehicle is ready for your ride.

Very easy assembly

Almost all the tricycle’s modules connect quickly and conveniently with a click or a similar easy-to-use system. Once you take the tricycle out of the box, only 1 screw requires the included screwdriver.

Integrated steering system

The steering mechanism connecting the parent handle and front wheel is concealed within the tricycle frame. This gives the whole design a cleaner look and means there are fewer unnecessary elements around your child to attract their curiosity.

360° rotating seat

It allows the tricycle to be used facing forwards or backwards when the parent is steering. This makes it easy to adapt the vehicle to your current preferences.

Folds quickly

The convenient folding system makes transport and storage much easier. Simply fold the seat to access the handle, making it easier to carry the tricycle up the stairs.

Durable, high-quality wheels

Wheels on this type of vehicle should be durable. That is why Haari has durable polyurethane wheels with tread and a parking brake. They require no maintenance, resist mechanical damage and do not need inflating. They absorb shocks, provide suspension and keep your child comfortable.

FAQ

How do I assemble the Haari tricycle before your child’s first ride?

Start by inserting the rear wheels into the rear section of the frame until you hear a click, then check that they cannot be pulled out. Insert the front wheel into the frame, place the handlebars onto the stem and tighten them with a screwdriver. Attach the cup holder to the front of the frame. Finally, place the seat base and seat on the frame, pass the metal stem through them and tighten it with the black nut on the other side of the frame.

How do I convert the Haari tricycle into a child’s bike?

To prepare Haari for use as a child’s bike, remove the parent handle and fit the frame cover in its place. Slide the canopy out of the backrest and remove the footrests. Then press the buttons on both sides of the bumper bar at the same time, remove it from the seat fabric and move the side handles backwards.

How do I adjust the handle height on the Haari tricycle?

Adjust the handle height by pressing the clips on its frame and moving the handle in the desired direction. The handle has 3 height settings in the range of 91–107 cm, allowing you to adjust its position to suit the person pushing the tricycle.

How do I lock the rear wheels on the Haari tricycle?

Lock the rear wheels by pressing the brake next to the rear wheel. To release them, move the brake upwards. Haari has two brakes.

How does the freewheel function work on the Haari tricycle?

When the freewheel function is activated, your child can pedal independently of the tricycle’s speed. To activate it, move the lever on the side of the wheel. When the pedals should drive the wheel again, move the lever back. If your child is riding the bike independently, the freewheel function should be deactivated.

How do I fold the Haari tricycle for transport in a car?

For transport, you can lower the handlebars by pressing the red button, fold down the seat backrest and secure it with the bumper bar fastened above the backrest. To take the tricycle apart, remove the seat and its base after unscrewing them from underneath the frame. Then unscrew the handlebar bolt, remove the handlebar and slide off the front wheel. Release the bar using the side button, detach the rear wheels after releasing the silver locking buttons, then remove the handle, footrest and cup holder.

How do I keep the Haari tricycle in good working condition?

Check the technical condition of the Haari tricycle regularly. This helps you identify any components that require attention before your child rides it.
