How to use it?

Do not use medicinal substances or oily medicines, including those containing essential oils, for nebulisation. We also do not recommend using suspensions, including herbal extracts. Medicines containing pentamidine must not be used in the device.

How should the Nebi Air Mask nebuliser be powered during use?

Nebi Air Mask can be powered and charged with a Type-C cable, including while the device is in use. Use an approved DC 5.0 V 1.0 A power adapter compliant with IEC 60601-1, as the power adapter is not included. Disconnect the device from the power source after use.

How do I set up the Nebi Air Mask nebuliser?

First, attach the container to the main unit; a distinct click confirms that it is correctly fitted. Then attach the appropriate mask or mouthpiece. Before use, clean, disinfect and dry all parts thoroughly in accordance with the instructions.

How long does it take to fully charge the Nebi Air Mask battery?

A full battery charge takes approximately 2 hours. The indicator flashes while charging and turns solid green once charging is complete. When fully charged, the battery can power the device continuously for up to 60 minutes.

The indicator shows the operating and charging status, as well as situations that require the device to be checked. A solid blue light indicates operation, flashing green indicates charging, and a solid green light indicates a full charge. Five blue flashes signal a low battery level, three indicate that there is no liquid or that the device is not held upright, and ten indicate the end of the 10-minute operating time.

How do I prepare the Nebi Air Mask nebuliser before use?

Before use, clean, disinfect and dry all Nebi Air Mask components. This prepares the device and accessories for the next use in accordance with the cleaning and disinfection instructions.

How do I add liquid to the Nebi Air Mask?

Open the lid, inject the solution into the container and close it securely before switching on the device. The recommended amount of liquid is 2–6 ml, and the container must not be filled above 6 ml. Hold the device upright during nebulisation so that the liquid remains in contact with the mesh disc.

How do I perform nebulisation with the Nebi Air Mask?

Gently shake the device horizontally to mix the solution, put on the mask or place the mouthpiece in your mouth, and press the power button. Take slow, deep breaths while the solution is released. The device switches off automatically after 10 minutes; to continue, press the button again and check the amount of liquid. After use, switch off the device, remove the container and empty it.

How do I manually clean the Nebi Air Mask nebuliser?

For manual cleaning, use 0.5%–1% neodisher MediClean forte for 10–30 minutes at 30°C. Wearing disposable gloves, immerse the device, ensuring that no air bubbles remain, wipe the surfaces with a soft, lint-free cloth, and flush the internal channel of the device five times with detergent using a syringe. Then rinse under running water for 30 seconds, rinse in fresh deionised water for 5 minutes, and dry with a lint-free towel.

How do I manually disinfect the Nebi Air Mask components?

For manual disinfection, undiluted MetriCide™ OPA Plus can be used at room temperature by immersing the accessories for at least 5 minutes. Remove air bubbles from the surfaces using a sterile, soft cloth. After the required time, remove the parts, rinse them with sterile water, then wipe and dry them with a sterile cloth. Always check the disinfectant's instructions for use.

How do I dry the Nebi Air Mask after cleaning?

After cleaning, shake the container to remove any remaining water from it and the mesh disc. Leave the accessories to dry for at least 4 hours. Before use, check that all parts, especially the mesh disc and container, are completely dry.

If the device has been outside this temperature range, leave it at room temperature for 2 hours.
