How can I use the Milky Simple breast milk collector hygienically and safely?

Before and after each use, wash and disinfect all parts that come into contact with the body and milk. Before putting it on, check that the collector has no damage or defects. If you notice any, do not use it. When positioning the collector, place the nipple in the centre of the opening and make sure that the collector does not compress the milk ducts. For hygiene reasons, the collector should be used by one person only.

Put on a bra and position the collector securely against your breast. When the collector is full, carefully remove it from your bra. Pull out the silicone stopper and pour the milk into a bottle or breast milk storage bag, then place it in the fridge. After use, wash the collector thoroughly and leave it to dry.

How do I clean and disinfect the Milky Simple breast milk collector?

Wash the parts that come into contact with the body and milk separately immediately after use to prevent milk residue from drying. After washing, leave all the parts to dry on a clean towel or paper towel. To disinfect them, place the parts in boiling water for at least 10 minutes, making sure they are fully submerged and do not touch the bottom of the container. Before the next use, store them in a clean bag, container or another clean place. Do not seal wet parts tightly.
