To set up Amelie correctly, take the cot out of the bag and undo the hook-and-loop straps. Place it on the floor, separate the legs by pulling them in opposite directions, and keep the centre lock raised. Pull up the centre section of each rail and check that the rails have locked in the horizontal position. Then press down the lock in the centre of the base until the surface is flat. A click confirms correct assembly. Finally, insert the mattress and fasten its hook-and-loop straps through the openings in the base on both shorter sides.
