The Aart i-Size car seat is installed rear-facing using the vehicle's seat belt, in a semi-reclined position. Position it so that it sits firmly against the vehicle seat back, then route the lap belt through the guides. Route the shoulder belt through the guide beside the seat back and around the back of the car seat, then fasten the belt in the buckle. Check that the belt is fully tightened and not twisted, and that the buckle is not too close to the lap belt guide. Loosen the car seat harness, place your child in the seat, fasten the harness and adjust the headrest. The harness should fit snugly against your child's body. Children below 75 cm in height may use the seat only with the reducer insert.

Store the harness behind the cover, remove the foam from the opening beneath the cover in the base and connect the harness to the buckle. Finally, place the harness buckle in the opening.
