The massage mode and expression mode each have 9 intensity levels. Massage mode simulates the initial sucking phase during breastfeeding, while expression mode simulates the deeper sucking phase. Select the level using the intensity increase and decrease buttons.

Wash your hands before assembly. Wash, disinfect and completely dry all parts that come into contact with milk. Insert the silicone membrane into the container, then attach the suction valve to the connector in the correct direction and press the connector firmly into the container. Fit the silicone flange, pressing the tunnel and flange edges firmly to create a tight seal. Connect the main body to the container, centre the nipple in the flange tunnel and place the device inside your bra.

Before use, check that the Fidi Free Lumi breast pump is assembled correctly and fits your breast. Press and hold the power button to start the device in the last mode used, then use the mode button to change the setting during operation. Choose an intensity from 1 to 9, increasing it until you feel slight discomfort, then reduce it by one level. Do not change the position of the device during operation or lean forward.

While the breast pump is running, first lean slightly forwards so that the milk flows from the tunnel into the container, then switch off the device. Gently remove the breast pump from your bra and disconnect the main body. Tilt the container with its rounded part facing downwards, then pour the milk through the opening into a bottle or storage container. Do not store milk in the device or in the fridge.

Expressed milk can be stored at a temperature of 16–25°C for up to 4 hours, or for up to 6 hours in very clean expressing conditions. In a refrigerator at 4°C, it can be kept for up to 3 days, or for up to 5 days in very clean conditions. In a freezer at -18°C, store it for up to 6 months, or for up to 9 months in very clean conditions. Do not store milk in the refrigerator door.

Defrost milk in the fridge for up to 24 hours, at room temperature for up to 2 hours, or under warm running water at a temperature of up to 37°C. Use milk defrosted under running water immediately. Before feeding, gently shake the container and check the temperature. Do not use a microwave or boiling water. Do not refreeze defrosted milk or store it after defrosting.

Connect the USB-C cable to the power socket on the side of the main body, then connect the other end to a USB adapter 5V DC 1A. A flashing battery level indicator means the battery is charging. When it stops flashing, the battery is fully charged. Before first use, charge the device for 2 hours.

After removing the main body, open the milk container from underneath by pulling on the silicone flange. Then separate the flange from the device and remove the assembled connector from the container. Finally, separate the suction valve from the breast pump T-piece.

Wash the parts that come into contact with the body and milk separately immediately after use. Do not clean or disinfect the main body or the power cable. Do not wash any part of the Fidi Free Lumi breast pump in a dishwasher.

Before first use, wash all parts that come into contact with milk with a cleaning solution. Then sterilise the milk container, T-piece, valve and flanges with boiling water. Do not sterilise the main body.

After use, disassemble the main body and wipe it with a damp, soft cloth. Disassemble the remaining parts, wash them with warm water and a mild detergent, and rinse them thoroughly under running water. To disinfect them, immerse them in boiling water for at least 10 minutes, ensuring they do not come into contact with the bottom of the container. Dry the parts on a clean towel and store them in a clean place only once they are completely dry.

Connect the Fidi Free Lumi breast pump to the adapter, as the battery may have run out or entered protection mode after being stored for a long time. Before first use and after extended storage, fully charge the battery. The battery level indicator flashes while charging.

First, make sure that the Fidi Free Lumi breast pump is switched on. Press and hold the on/off button to switch it on. Once started, the device begins operating in the mode used most recently.

Check that all parts are clean, dry, and correctly and fully assembled. In particular, make sure that the suction valve is fitted in the correct direction and that the connector is properly seated in the container. Also check that the silicone flange fits closely against the breast and that none of the parts have cracks or damage.
